Hello guys how's the weekend? For me I had a wellspent weekend with my crew in Homburger and also I did help my friend on his voluntary project. Actually it was very unexpected since I rarely joined this kind of event before. So my friend was asking me for help for this charity event, not in term of money since I knew he has the money. So he needed manpower and some helper. Without thinking too much I actually said yes to help on this project. Well at first I was so nervous since I wasn't so sure what would I really do there. So after I said agree suddenly I received an event invitation also from Deltalube oil Indonesia to actually support them on their event. The event was not really like any other event that we participated before. This time we got paid just to give them food to their customer and also their staff.
They were really paid us up in front, which we were really happy and blessed for this. Then we made some differentiation on this event by just serving 1 type of menu with flat rate. So we gave them around 430 pax of burgers just for 2 days. Well weekend well spent if we can do this every week. So if you guys have anything in mind, like having a BBQ weekend party do let me know you can contact my Instagram.
So moving forward to the Sunday session, I didn't join the bazaar on Sunday actually, but I came around 6pm from the charity work. I didn't know sharing happiness is really contagious ya. So my friend was asking me just to play guitar and let the kids sang kids song kind of thing. hahhaa.. At first as usual I was pretty nervous however in time like after 5-10 minutes I just played and enjoyed it pretty much.
So there were around 130 kids attended this event, it was packed and fun day as well. We all enjoyed spending our time very much. So we played games mostly and we did some medical check up on the kids like checking their eyes condition and also checking their teeth. That's why the tag line of the event that day was Better vision + better smile equal to brighter future.
It was funny because I think most of the kids haven't ever tried to check their eyes or gone to a dentist before. There was 1 kid cried because he's afraid to check his eyes up with the doctor. He gave a funny question like will my eye be okay if you check it? I don't to plug out my eye just to be checked through. funny right? Anyway that was one good experience.
This event was purely sponsored program so my friend owns this company and he actually looked for sponsorship not in term of money but in term of things. We gave the kids souvenir purely from the sponsors that we got. Like tooth paste, tooth brush, bags, towel, books, notes, and some snacks from the sponsor for the kids. The food is also sponsored by my friend dion.
Anyway I really enjoyed the event, I was thinking to leave early after 2 hours but I ended up staying until finish. Thank god we can share some blessing to the kids and Thank God for another awesome weekend!
Cheers!
